Following video can clearly illustrate what technology & science can do, and overcome the deficiency in HP & CC.
Abosolutely love the "1 finger" technology. :D

And the "disadvantage" of not having TORQUE ( which can clearly overcome by "downshift"! )

Had a chance to ride in a brand new Civic 2.0 last nite, for the first time, driven around Subang. Can feel the ride on the 17" wheel pretty harsh (worst than my 17" RFT), and those suspension is stiff! I am suspecting the 10 year old design K20 engine is very heavy and thus require stiff front shockers to support its weights. Rev is very lively though.

I wonder how the driving dynamics of an FF car be improved with such a heavy engine. Yet, overall kerb weight is still lighter than 320i.. that means the rear is super light?

bro, after test drive which one is better?

to me it depends on many things and not just the engines....

a good driver also counts.....

some cars may win on straights but what about the not so straights or when you are moving in and out of lanes on the highway?

hhhmmm.... 1.8 pun boleh tapau 2.8.....
but then again, what this need for speed (read: my car faster than your car?) thingy???

even with my innova too i can cucuk some conti cars..... hhhmmmm....

cabutzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i think is better change to 1jz VVTI... my friend did that for his E46 and now no more tapau by k20 on the highway.

Can't comment on the drive because I was just a passenger.. I do hear the lively engine when tapping the gas pedal but sounds like metal grinding mill.. rough!

city driving is 0.25-0.28/per-km (based on Ron95)
highway is 0.18-0.20/per-km (based on Ron95) tested KL-PG-KL

Civic Type-R is using this tyre:

So when wet, no grip wan... any1 of us can play with them in the rain.. :D By the same reason, we can play with Gojira too because they too uses the same tyres..

Don't make fun of the Gojira in the wet, have been in one overtaking all the cars in sepang.. that beast has unbelievable wet grip.. Can hit 230 on the front straight and still managed to brake in time for Turn 1.. My balls were hanging on my throat.
salute...

haha.. finally today i got d answer.. tested wif my fren's civic, ends up wif that civic inducted my smoke.. heee.. love my uDM!

I will vote for 2000cc turbocharged as it is ligher... just my guess la

just being curious.

1) 3000cc N/A engine with 250Nm of torque, 250hp
2) 2000cc turbocharged engine with 250Nm torque, 250hp

which engine will perform better if we load it into the same car,
in terms of acceleration and top speed

I think 2litre turbocharged engine will peak quicker in a sprint run, but given a longer track,3litre engine will soon get behind the tailpipes i guess..my 10cents

Tested Golf GTi & VW A4 but I prefer my 528 anytime. Can eat peanuts at 160kmh & lose the stereng. 170km at 3k rpm, BMW dynamic & 50-50 weight distribution make it ultimate driving machine

mine when 170 rpm 5+k already.. hahhaa.. 2.2litre only mehh

Its not bout speed. Its the feeling of ultimate driving machine. Drive safely.
I still give away if anyone wanna go faster than me. cheers

Have read all over the thread.. It's happen to me too, even in 2.8 engine, still kna tapaw with 2.0 cibik at the corner with 140kph.. cess.. bikin malu kompeni.. Furthermore, it's in wet condition road, daze on that time in Karak highway, with hujan renyai2.. Only can leave him behind when start to climb up the hill corner again (proved! 328 engine is very torquey!). Most probably the cibik driver bangga already cause can tapaw me.. Me??? just go straight to the RnR Genting sempah to calm myself down.
