Game-r you should keep this video original copy. it can be used as evidence. if i am not mistaken it was clearly stated in the law that all speed trap must have warning sign x distance before the trap.

That is not going to help once it's a private company drooling for your RM300. They will conveniently claim that there is that tiny "80" speed limit sign, however hidden or hard to spot, is their warning sign.

In respond to the AES, BMW should come up with speed limiter in which we can reduce speed from 200 to 60 kmh within 2 secs ..

When I drove down to Singapore yesterday, saw 3 accidents guess it's good to have AES. Oh yes, saw two flashes near entry to Johor. Be safe

I love all the bitching about AES. Speed signs are too small, people make money. Eh ... last time when no AES speed signs are still visible la. If we learn not to speed then there is no problem but fact it almost everyone wants to speed etc. Travelling up to Penang recently, I cruised at 110 on my cruise control. I think almost 50% of the cars on the highway were faster than me, at least 130 kmh.

When was it? Maybe new mobile camera not fixed camera...because I just did 160kmh coming out from the tunnel last night after midnight and there was no flash. In fact I go home thru there everyday from work, no flash. Afternoon yes, there will be penguins waiting under the Ingress Auto 2km signage.

It is in the big list of 800+ camera location. I think there are 2 on Sprint - one as c-square mentioned and another near the Eastin Hotel.

the flash of AES i think resemble the red light camera. been gotcha once running a red light (on a single lane, dark and empty road at 12a.m.) and the flash is just like a lightning strike. here's the full location of AES. Watch your speed and watch your back ok!

Answering my own post , there aren't any camera there as of tonight. But there is a suspicious construction going on near the proposed AES location. So just watch out, a camera might just pop up tomorrow morning. The money sucking fellas are building it faster than you build Starcraft structures on your PC

That won't work. If you look closely at the camera setup, it's not based on radar (and unlikely to be laser), but using the road surface detectors just before the camera.

If AES is utilizing an induction loop system then there will be some work done on the road surface, which I haven't seen so far.

Nope. Dont think so. Another thing to remember is not all the AES cameras are fixed, some are mobile. So it can't be embedded on the roads.

Radar for speed gun is obsolete. It's only good when there's only 1 moving object detected. When there's more than 1 object, it can't tell which is the speeding car.
