duno now got the F1 suaber BMW windscreen sticker or not

i support petronas !! ekeke

Interestingly, Petronas always had bimmers in their ads and I remember reading somewhere they test their fuel on BMW cars too, like Projet.

FYI BP, ESSO, MOBILE, PETRONAS, all buy their petrol from the Shell Refinery in Sarawak....only Projet brings their own fuel in from the States....but if you're hooked on Projet try stocking up they look like their on their way out!

This may be true. The Shell refineries in UK even blend fuel for Tesco!! Does that mean Tesco has the same properties as regular Shell (bare in mind Tesco fuel being sold in the UK at 1/2 the price of branded fuel???). They are not the same, as each Brand will be blended based on the clients requirement. The reason for blending in one refinery is purely for logistical reasons (cost). If it made economic sense, Petronas would could be blending for all manufacturers... It's all in the blends... not where it's blended....

Personal experience: I've been a loyal user of Shell v-power for 2 years now. Changed to Petronas Primax over the weekend just for a try after reading some of the good reviews on this forum. I actually find it to be better than v-power in terms of response, and overall smoothness of ride.....kinda like having good wine after tequila. I'm curious to venture out and try others next....maybe caltex.

Petronas used to be my choice, but it seems like the petronas in Penang doesnt give me the same "performance" i get in KL. Hehe, may be the case of the oulets having their own fuel mixtures.

Currently Caltex is making me smile more whenever i step on the peddle. The car seemed smoother during cold starts early in the morning too!. I dont normally pump caltex as they are not widely available, but there's one near where i stay currently and man, its my current Top choice at the moment. Car is responsive compared to other fuels that ive pumped so far.

However, on the contrary, the milleage seemed like its no better.. well i guess my foot is to be blamed for that, since caltex is giving me a more responsive engine, my foot doesnt seem to acknowledge that i want to save fuel!!

My vote goes to:

1. Caltex ( at the moment )
2. Petronas

That's what I've been trying to say!! V-Power is just a gimmick. It's also very very very corrosive on the engine internals. My advice, run 20bucks of v-power every 3-4 months. Helps clean the engine - but you dont want too much of it. It's got the highest content of detergents in the market (compared to other brands). Know this for a fact as I've been to the R&D facility where this fuel was formulated (known as Optimax in Europe)- before it came to malaysia.... Marketing even had the nerve to say the fuel was being directed at those with high testosterone levels!!! Just my two cents....

My votes

1) Petronas
2) BP

(Above only true If outlet doesn't tamper with stock)

last place: Shell Unleaded (crap), and V-Power (carppier as it costs more!!!)
