tried a full tank of petrol from Shell..car felt slightly less eager, maybe throttle response not so good as compared when i'm running Petronas.

ran about 500kms+- on the full tank.mostly 3/5 highway and the rest kampung roads.averaged about 160kph on the highway with short bursts at 230+kph and sustained 160-170kph on fast sweepers.plus a lot of braking, slowing down and accelerating again due idiots on the fastlane doing 100kph..

Maybe thats the added load of 63L of petrol? Thats like 63 cartons of milk in your boot. :)

let's try latest one from caltex Techron (Yellow).
I'm trying with rm50. little big different with power....okayla......
But Shell still more KM.........lebih kilo wang..... :D :D

Good idea.....will try the Caltex with Techron next. Seems interesting but most importantly cheap some more. Easy for me to pump cause there's a big caltex station just before I enter the causeway.

I think we need to let the petrol station off a few days first to let them clear the old petrol before pumping in the new one.

wah if thats the way, i puttin caltex in my nex list... see how it goes man.>!

after goin thru all the petrol., i personally find that petronas the best.. ! hehehe :)

RM1.91??

ya ya. .s'ban, ns, pd, johor.. petrol cheaper by 1 sen.. refinery near ma, lower cost.. hehe..

yo leakwoon, i saw yr pm liao.. thks.

I used to use shell but now switch to BP or Petronas. Shell feels sluggish but I never realise it since I never try other brands.

Using BP I managed to get 620 km in mixed driving with one full tank. I reckon can do another 10 km or so but don't want to risk it as needle touching the bottom line.

I saw RM 1.91 /liter in KL somewhere before but I thought the station make a mistake and never bother about it.

Yeah i was impressed too but I can never repeat this mileage under normal driving. Under normal city driving i get like 500-550 km but usually low 500s.

620 km was when I took a trip to Klang for tire shopping and highway to USJ area. But was driving super efficiently according to my FC meter averaging about 6 liter /100 km.

Got friend in my car so was chatting and driving smoothly at 90 - 110 km/h. No speeding or sudden acceleration and braking.

The last time I was impressed with my car mileage was when it reached 568 km. I was like wow and I still got one notch in my fuel gauge then the engine sputtered and stalled. :( No more petrol. The fuel gauge rosak and got stuck at one notch above the empty line.

tried techron liao

on half tank

feel about same as petronas

mileage also same

but i feel when i revv to 3-4k rpm

engine sound noisier

any one care to feed back??
