no such thing as hot clearance......
each material will hold different specific heat ,thus capacity will differ in the materials, thus giving a different expansion properties for each material, i.e. valve lash....after years of use, each valve will have different properties...
even minute heat capacity will give different results i.e expansion of metal , so each valve adjust will differ.
only way is to eliminate this factor, which is to perform the adjustment when there is zero heat, thus early morning before the sun rises or leave the car a whole day and adjustment made in mid of the nite......
i am guessing the 0.25 amount is if you do replace all the old parts in the cyclinder head...??? rocker arms, shafts, guides etc etc....i am not too sure on this..
first of all...thanks guys for all the comments and advice.

bro jeembo,
your car using auto tranny yek..?
if using auto, there wont be prob like clutch slipping..
only vehicle with manual transmission / transaxle using clutch,
for the power flows..

ooo really? does auto tyranny not have clutch or something? if it have not been the clutch what could it be then? i need recommended workshop to go to...
1. torque converter that has lockup clutch to prevent slippage..
2. gear train that has planetary gearsets..
3. hydraulic system..
torque converter = fluid coupling that containstator to permit a torque increase..
torque converter clutch = to lock transmission input shaft to engine crankshaft, eliminate any slippage thru torque converter..
