No chance to compare my CSC3 to PS2 yet... Anyway, I went through deep puddles at 50-60km/h on BORR (Butterworth Outer Ring Road) on Sunday night, car was rock steady, none of those feeling that the steering is being tugged to one side. The parallel grooves on the CSC3 are really wide, so I think they can channel water away effectively. But whether such wide grooves caused the contact patch surface area to be reduced in dry weather grip remains to be seen...

LCP::: Which is quieter or more comfortable? The CSC3 or ???:listen:

Thanks mate!

Michelin Energy

My friend bought Michelin Energy:42: :20: :stickyman: last month.

Psi was around 30 psi front and 33 for rear. At Shah Alam where he stay, the car skided twice so far when raining. Speed was driving normal around corner circus (near the famous Mosque). Luckily missed other car nearby.

He never had any such problem using Falken 452. I think he want to go back to falken 452 again but also talking maybe the CSC3.

Lol, the Energy series is optimized for lowest rolling resistance to save fuel and is quite the opposite of highest grip available.

I rode in my buddy's GTi with FK452 yesterday for an extended spirited run, and its a very sticky tyre. No wonder folks talk about it so much. Noise and comfort wise its OK but not great. Also quite cheap, Rm500+ for 225/40/18's

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any feedback on Dunlop Direzza DZ101? I'm looking for 225/40/18.

How is your PS 2 tires ER46 Fanatic?
Is it noisier now? How does it compare to tires like CSC2 or Falken 452? Just asking for your personal opinion.

Enjoying it la :p. Not my first time with the PS2's as I've used them since my E46. They make a world of difference over the Toyo T1R's, and I think for the $$$, it really transforms the car to be much more enjoyable to drive.

I've been reading that there's a new Goodyear that's the best, even better than PS2.

Bro are u referring to Goodyear Eagle LS3000 Hybrid ? Latest offering from GY i guest. Sgp side quoted SGD260 for 245/45/18. I still can't find review or comparison for this tyre. Will decide by next week.

p/s: Btw this are tyres and prices i got from Sg side. All price including GST.

Falken 452 - 245/45/18 $280
Conti CS3 - 245/45/18 $510
GY LS3000 -245/45/18 $260

help

I just read about the new Goodyear Asymmetriz F1 coming to malaysia. Is is better to wait for this of should I change to Michelin PS 2?
My Continental Sport 2 is too bumpy. Strangely soft sideways. feel very hard on non smooth roads. If i reduce the air pressure, the car will scrap some speed bumps.

Any idea what to do?

any idea for Hankook S1 Evo which partnership with Hamann Motorsport???

Hi. If you're planning to change your tyres and can wait another 2-3 weeks, a tie-up with the Club will be announced shortly which you might find beneficial. I'm sorry I can't divulge any more details until the matter is finalised.

In the last couple of years, I've used Mich PS (1 not 2), Goodyear Eagle GSD3s, Bridgestone GIIIs and am currently am on RE010s.
My personal favourites are the GSD3s and the GIIIs. Brilliant in the wet. The GIIIs are a very good handling tire and have good wear (thread pattern very like S03s). Unfortunately discontinued, so I decided to try the RE010 Adrenalines which was the Bridgestone replacement for the GIII. Don't like 'em. Turn in feels very clumsy - like you're driving in mud. Seem OK in the wet (but not to GIII or GSD3 levels) Also threadwear rating of 220 much lower than the GIIIs 280. Have only done 15,000 km and they are close to replacement. Plan to switch to Eagle F1s (which are the replacement for the GSD3s which I really like but don't wear as well as the GIIIs).
Incidentally the GSDs were the winner in a tire comparo with PS2, Contis and RE050s recently (last year?). Do a search on tire reviews and it should come out. Hope that helps.
