my alarm has no acoustic..its ckd model

Tried coding it from the scanner? Mine dont have before, but now I've coded it and it works

i think UK specs have it, i did it on my friends uk spec e39 and wallaaah.. like proton alarm now heh.. his unit has this red siren light under the mirror(look back i dont know what to call it suddenly)

i tried to enable all the DWA sensors and got error codes ... made a few permutations but still no sound.. but optical during arming and dis-arming are working..

so...have to live with it ..

This is such a disappointment. The ability to read live data was the major point of the scanner.

Salut

Solo, dont blame the scanner lar.
M43 engine is the built from from 1999 till 2001 before it was replace by N42 and later by N46 engine.
In fact, M43 engine are use for E36 which is ODB-1 compliance. It a wonder that BMW ca modify it to be OBD-II compliance.

My E36 also cannot be read by the scanner. Now trying to make it to be OBD-II compliance.

Please keep us updated on the progress of making the scanner OBD-II compliant. And thanks for trying to make me feel better. I have a few ideas to try out to see if I can get live data, will try out and post tomorrow.

Bro

Thank you for the guidance and manage to reach on this step as follow ur instruction. Infect i'm looking for ZKE module.
I did manage to change my Interval Oil Service to 8k km instead of 25k km, the 12hrs Clock Mode and Auto-Lock when reached 28km/h. The problem was my Auto-Lock seem to be NOT FUNCTION even reached that speed and the key remote control needs to PRESS 2 times ONLY ALL 4 doors will OPEN. The 1st Press on the remote control ONLY will OPEN the DRIVER DOOR, then press again only ALL DOORS will OPEN. Before i make any setting i only need pressing ones the remote control will open all the doors.
Really need to take sometimes to learn on this toys.

Referring to this:

1) Auto-Lock when reached 28km/h. The problem was my Auto-Lock seem to be NOT FUNCTION even reached that speed

Did you tick all boxes under 'Automatic Locking'. Example: If you only tick 'the option for key 1, using key 2 wont lock the doors automatically. Tick all the boxes just to be sure.

2) key remote control needs to PRESS 2 times ONLY ALL 4 doors will OPEN. The 1st Press on the remote control ONLY will OPEN the DRIVER DOOR, then press again only ALL DOORS will OPEN. Before i make any setting i only need pressing ones the remote control will open all the doors.

Thats the options under 'Central Locking Functions' as above. I actually like this function. Saves you from bandits trying to hijack the car from the other side when you unlock the car. If he comes from behind you then you're f****d anyway :4:. If you dont want to press twice to unlock all doors, select all 'No' under the 'Central Locking Functions' and NOT 'Selective'

Hope this helps. Let me know if it works.
