Alex,

I have some codes I cannot clear in the DME module's shadow memory too. I scanned my car with another tool call Win-Star from Taiwan and cannot see those codes.
So I think , those in Shadow memory are somehow old codes cleared earlier like most electornics design the code is marked deleted/cleared but not actually cleared from the memory location until it is overwritten when the memory is full/recycled.

But why some can be cleared ? perhaps less critical codes can be permanently cleared. A lot more to explore.

I think we should try to get very one to post the screenshot of the DME live data at idle, by comparing the data (air/oil temp, air mass, o2 , vanos position, etc) will give everyone a better understanding of condition of their rides.

Jarance, I notice your oil temp is quite high compared to mind at idle .

Jarance...

Connection error with IKE

Connection error with EWS

that's what i got when i click on Car Identification or Scan.. sigh

Still no luck for win 7 x64. Ran the exe driver installation file. It detects 64 bit OS and says installation complete, but still have the exclamation mark at the device manager.
Tried the default installation method by updating the driver via device manager, it says no correct driver was found.

By the way, those using win xp, are you guys using the default driver that come with the software? or using the new driver from fdti homepage?

Anybody know how to solve the EWS problem.

Bought a key from china. Key can sync with the car. Can open/close the door lock but cannot start car.

Check the key information and found the info is different from the original. Anyone know how to resolve this issue.

Start a photbucket account to upload your picture there. then post an img link from photobucket back to here. Keep the size to 640 X 480.

Jarance,

Did you use the 'hold unlock button press lock button 3 times' method with the new key ?

The key come already cut ?

Yes, I use 'hold unlock button press lock button 3 times' method to sync the key to open/close the door.

No lar, the key is uncut. I got it cut in Klang for RM60. There are cheaper place but after considering the petrol cost, it come to the same.

New key at the bottom.

Did you clone the old key's transponder? Without the transponder, you can only open doors and not start the car.

Salut
