May I ask if this is just speculation or fact? Anyone with first hand experience care to chime on the noise level between the CBU and SKD versions.skate;753214 said:Don't compare with the CBU 328 sound insulation la. Of course got difference.

Was this experience like a test drive of the CBU and then on your SKD a month or so later? Without an A/B test one after another with a very short interval between both cars, then I think is up to speculation either way. I was led to believe the difference in materials if any, do not result in any change in quality unlike the CBU/CKDs of old. skate;753287 said:It's not the material but the quality at the point when the car was assembled. Hence it is widely known fact that CCBU cars have a better build quality than SKD /CKD cars. Otherwise some people won't be paying arms and legs to get CBUs, knowing well that a cheaper version is just a few months down the line. Unless the Kulim plant has grown by leaps and bounds with their F30 production quality, only time will tell.
