e39 Radio, what is this small little plug for?

Not sure what that plug is, but I noticed from your signature 'E39 528i (A)2001 Black'

Just to let you know that E39 528i's are last produced in 1999 or very early 2000 only. 2001 should be 525i or 530i, no more 528i.

I have the exactly same ori player like yours. i think u not need to plug in any cable to the connector.

I reckon the cable looks like this:

This is diversity radio antenna. The ori player use 2 radio connector, one is main antenna (big head) and another one is diversity antenna (smaller head).

You can but it will not enhance your GPS. GPS works on a space-based satellite navigation system where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites for it to work. The antenna works for radio frequency which is of a different tech altogether.

connect each and try to see which makes your radio reception clearer. you may need an adapter.. as for the gps, i comes with the antenna normally.

I had this problem before with my ori player, it was the radio antenna connection problem.

i see. so where should i wiggle? some people say it's because the stripes at rear screen have been cut. nothing can be done but change new screen. lol
