Had a run with a Civic 2.0 in my e60 525i M54..know what? The 525i struggles to actually leave the Civic behind.Bugger stayed glued on my tail till 170kph..only managed to pull away after that.

So a 2.2 320i? No way.. but does it really matter? Different cars,different class..enjoy the silky smooth power delivery,enjoy the refinement of the six and forget about Civics and Sylphys and Corollas.

actually im down to my engine performance.. at my age,im more interested to power.. so what can i say,my father loves bm.. i have to follow.

but the pro is just like supergripen said,smooth engine,very good stability and confidence when running at high speed. Powerful car, but if doesn't have good stability,safety and confidence is next to nothing.:top:

itu fd/cibik 2.0 don't have speed cut...tested with my frens cibik, it can reach top speed of 220kmh to 230kmh...from stand still my previous 525 N52 leads by almost 2 to 3 cars and once u go over 200kmh u can say bye bye to them liau...

on the 320i no chance to 'bungkus' cibik...like supergripen said, just enjoy the car and ignore them...hahaha

The Civic 2.0 does not hv speedcut..it followed me all the way to 220kph but like I mentioned earlier,I only started to pull away at 170+kph.Make no mistake,he was still tailing me albeit at increasing distance..
If u want power,u should think about a 325i or higher,not a 320i.I used to hv a 328i and was quite happy with it.Maybe u shud consider one..InitialM is selling his immaculate 328i.Hv a look at the 'Car for sale' thread.

I am on E90 320 N46B20 - weekly SIN-KL-SIN run ...

When i first took the car - stock standard - I can even forget abt Cibik 1.8 ...
I remembered one SG plate Cibik 1.8 - going 'around' me from Kulai to Tangkak ... mangkuk ! Reaching 200kmh was like foreverrrrrrrrrr ...
My playmate will be Gen 2, Waja, Myvi (?) ..

Tak boleh tahan ... sent it to BVO (Bernard) did some mapping + Tune Kit ...

Things changed a bit .. Can play with Cibik 1.8 - maybe 3-4 cars length .
Waja, Gen 2 and Myvi - ehhh .. tepi lah !

BUT Cibik 2.0 - dun dream laaaa ... kenot touch them even at corners - and I am on KW2 ! (maybe driver issue not car issue .. ).

Ohh - Gen 2 / Pesona CPS are quite powerful too .. at 200 kmh, it's quite common for them to trail me/or i trail them- esp from Air Keroh - to KL (3 lanes maaa ..)

If only i am driving my other car .... :top:

I feel quite sadden when I read this thread cause we spend about double the amount( or more!) to buy our Bimmers as compared to cibik but in the end still struggling or kena tapau by them. This is what is happening when we pursue sustainability policies instead of driving performance.

Aiyaa... even a Mit GT also can kacau my N46B20 but I let the Mit pass at 200kph.. My suspension start to lembik at 200kph.. don't play play, perhaps other has bigger balls.. and it sure take a while to reach 200kph... but I disagree using the word "forever" la!

The 2.2L 320i should produce 170hp ma! Even the displacement is greater. Much superior over the Civic.. how come cannot challenge Civic meh?! I have driven Civic before since the EG6 days and to be frank, their handling is really awesome for an FF layout, even the CRX handles very well in corners.

just relax and whoever wanna pass, just let them pass...i still remember one of initialm's videos/ post that he was following a fairlady on the way back to jb...look what happened to the fairlady? what about the civic "type R" at penchala?

heard that a cibik ate most of the beemers going uphill ....dammm and it's a lady driver too ....

even given you the most powerful car also , not many would drive over 200km/h .... these days my limiter is set at 120 max only ....cibik ka , beemw ka , cefiro ka , kancil ka ...i'll let you'll pass ...no worries

end of the day i want to reach back home safely to see my family , rather then kena tapau in a coffin ....

75Kg is not a small difference either ... in BTCC they had to put the bimmers on a penalty weight of 40kg just to even things out since it's rwd
