Just wondering when BMW Malaysia will be launching this models...i guess there will be a diesel model in the line up...any takes on the price of a 2.5 petrol version?looks good though..
initial lineup consist of 2.0 diesel with various tunes and a single 3.0 petrol. I think, later they'll slot in the 2.0 petrol...perhaps the direct injection one with 170hp, instead of the current N46 with 156 hp.
I'm really interested in this. Probably will be my next BMW. Any idea when it's releasing in Malaysia. It's on sale here in UK on the 24th of October 2009!
Unlikely it will do well. The X3 isnt doing well in MY currently anyway. (How often do you see an X3 compared to X5 and other 4WD makes? I barely see one a week.) Being smaller than the X3, its probably going to be "too expensive for such small car" mentality by local consumers for the most part.
a pretty SUV this X1.. not really small even. with a line-up that includes X5, X6 and all-new X3, BMW could very well exit the sedan/coupe/touring car segments.
Well, if it does not do well, then the ownership of an X1 will be quite exclusive then....honestly, I think this might just take off...provided it's priced right.
