Taking the Grandpa to Frasers

Dear Sifus,Would like to enquire what checks are required on a 15yo 520i M50 before going on an overnight trip to frasers hill. Does anyone have a good mechanic who can do the necessary checks (cooling system/engine/brakes) for a reasonable charge? Currently car doesn't give any issues though I haven't changed the brakes in over 4 years so suspect this might be a weak point. Much appreciated!:burnout:

if the car is due for service, better send to wskhp for checking.. before travelling long distance, normally i will check the coolant level, oil stick, leaking (if any) and air-cond. i dunno how u maintain the car, but, if the car is properly maintain, it should be able to bring u anywhere!

there are many good workshop recommnded inside the forum. just browse and u should be able to find it.
