Support for Club house for BMWCM

very interesting, a BMWCM club house.
how is the progress so far?

could i suggest maybe somewhere in Shah Alam that rental is cheap, no need to be a posh place at the moment, rental below RM1k perhaps.
(we need someone that is familiar with Shah Alam area)

some of the members can donate their old/un-used sofa, TV's, fridge, dining table & chairs, airconds for the time being.

club meetings also could be held there. at the same time any members that wish to sell their car parts eg: rims, spoilers, interior stuffs etc could be displayed in the clubhouse. BMWCM clubhouse could take some commission (let say 20% +6% GST) that will supplement the expenses for utilities, staffing etc...

just my 2 cents from a newbie ....

I was informed by our CMs that one of our new Official Members contributed his place of business as our first BMW Club Malaysia Clubhouse. I think it's a right step forward in this initiative. I will enquire further on the plans and way forward on this matter during our upcoming AGM.

I am excited that this club house could become a reality. I hope it happens soon. I agree with bro DanZe90, if budget is low at the moment, we could start off with GOOD CONDITION hand me down furniture from club members and guest whom have good things to pass on.

In view of the coming GST, I am sure many are changing furnitures, TV, fridges, electrical applicances, etc.You will be surprised what might pop up. it could be a car bumper, rims or any bmw parts, we could have a garage sale to raise money.

Additionally, we should encourage vendors to take up an exhibition space during the club annual meetings to display their latest stuff to club members. For a start, we could charge a small premium for the space provided.

I am not on the committee but should we start a thread for guest and club members to post pictures of items they wish to pass on for the club usage? My apologies if I am over excited.

Actually... The Managing Committee has decided to choose our OM Luqman OSKA Autospa ( https://www.facebook.com/oskaautospa/timeline ) as our BMWCM LEPAQUE HOUSE.
OM Luqman was kind enough to support the club by charging a very little fee to rent out his waiting area to be our NON EXCLUSIVE BMWCM LEPAQUE HOUSE.
It will be officially announce during our Annual dinner and AGM this 28 Mar 2015.
The said BMWCM LEPAQUE HOUSE will be operating as same as the OSKA Autospa business hours (0900 - 1900 hours). However OM Luqman did give us some privilege by extending his business hours/ open the BMWCM LEPAQUE HOUSE if we do have some official events ( OTT / meeting etc). Currently the BMWCM LEPAQUE HOUSE is the place where we keep our Merchandise items and a place to collect club's item. Please feel free to drop by and have a look of it. We will officialy accomodate the place by 1st April 2015.
Well.... it might not as grand as some of our members expectation BUT we have made 1 step further in making the club house as reality.

So guys.... we need your support in making our lepaque house look grand !!
