Anytime, anyplace, anytime. I think BMW club should hve their own clubhouse in d near future, A place to lepak after work or after quarrel with wife.

It is a great idea and that is part of CM's plans. Lepak place for members, collection centre for starter kit, t-shirts, renewal jacket, etc etc. CM would certainly appreciate suggestions from members on this subject.

All members will need to agree to a monthly subscription ... Rental will never be that cheap. We need to pay up to enjoy a clubhouse. Better start a new thread. Gonna be fun ...

Yes, Wearnes has offered but nothing beats having our own club house.

Just to share, the Volkswagen Owners Club has tied up with 7th Gear Autoworks in Sunway to have their clubhouse there. 7th Gear setup a location within their compound as a club house, although its not extremely huge but it was a great place to hang out at.

Lotus on the other hand has built a club house for all their customers, you can view it at their dealership along the LDP near Ingress

don't worry about annual fee....sponsorship is another option towards getting our club house. need to think-out-of the box.

A very noble idea indeed but reality bites. This has been argued many times over its like the chicken and egg story.
What we need is the numbers. We currently have 3866 active 'Members' but only what? 200+ Official Members.??
The argument is always ask to be OM the answer is always no value, not justified and bla bla bla....but the problem is as a club we need the numbers to give value as that is how a club runs..as we are not a commercial entity the funds will come mostly from the membership fees...but if everybody has that attitude of why need to join bcos only got forumlah...other forum also no need to paylah attitude then this will never be a reality...but then again, Nothing is Impossible.

The venue should be large enough to house a workshop and a mod shop or prob a car wash too, where these entreprenuers shall rent from the club. Ideally, the sub-let would cover most if not all the main lease. Hence, minimal financial burden to members.

Eg. of such place is Imola Motorsports in Ampang.

I think u r in dreamlandlah...so if u have only 10 OM and to maintain a clubhse cost 60k a year tht means the OM have to pay Rm6k a year in membership fees... Get reallah Brudder. I dun want to say anything more but if u say its possible than its possibleloh...after all ur the super hero here mah...Club President also have to Kow tow to you.

Yes its a dream bro Alvin and good things sometimes do starts with a dream. A dream that can become a reality if we collectively put our efforts working towards making that dream come true.
Not only a club house but also bold enough to have a Car Spa and Cafe where OMs, CGs and other uDM owners can service their ride and at the same time having a good time at the Cafe. A place wholly owned by BMWCM! :top:..
