I just found out from one of my friend that the runflat tyre is so rough and noisy on the road. Also, it can be easily worn out than normal type of tyres. My friend jiust have his e60 for four months and he has complained the tyres have worn out and need to be charged. Anyone has the similar problem? Is it advisable to replace them before it has no value.

Under normal driving conditions, 4 months is a bit hard to believe unless its been abused.

My E90 has RFT and I agree that they are a bit noisy.
But they are only 2 weeks old so I can't comment on the conditions.

Give it time. In a couple of years, run flats technology will be almost up to par with the standard ones.At the moment, the only advantages I can think of for the run flats are peace of mind(puncture still can drive) and no need spare tyre(save space and weight).Anyway older Bimmers cant use them effectively without installing the puncture sensor. :)

Wear out faster is a possibility but in 4 months! Wa! Still under warranty can claim from AB? Kekekekeke...
