Rear Axle oil change ( rear diffrential )

Gents ...How many off you have changed the rear axle oil ? What are the intervals and the cost , mind sharing . The last i checked with my mechanic , he said the oil will cost around RM600 and nobody changes it . Is that true ?

Really Bro ? Lucky never change that day . Anyhow , how frequent u changed it , whenever you change ATF ? I remember i changed for E39 once and not that expensive . TQVM bro

I change with normal shell / castrol rear axle oil cost me only rm 30.. I change at every 40k km.....

non-M rear differential oil shud be just normal grade something like 75W90...
M differential with the electronic variable diff would need something more exotic. those old conventional LSD differential would need LSD specific differential oil.
