Hey guys, This is my very first time posting and I do not know where to post this, please bear with me. My e60's front emblem was plucked out this morning around USJ area, and I was told by my friend that few weeks ago, he had the same case as well in USJ area.So dear members, please keep an eye out on your beloved BMWs. I'm sorry if this was posted before, just want to warn you guys out there!

Pussy : My car is safe, just the prestige "BMW" emblem is gone Well, yeah family safety comes first but of course I would rather prefer them not to touch my car!

For the rest, try to keep this thread clean please. I'm not here to start an arguement/disagreement. I'm sorry if the essence of my warning message was not well presented, I'm just, in my good faith, trying to warn all the fellow members.

Good excuse to "upgrade" to a CF emblem though.. just to make urself feel better..

BMW emblem.. just go to any BMW spare part shop to get replacemet. Got 2 types, one fake and one genuine. Use black silicon i.e. the one they use to seal your car's window to stick it on. Then it won't be so easy to pry off. But on the other hand, the nasty buggers might scratch your car when trying to force it off.

If I were you just replace it with a fake one. Almost the same quality, quite difficult to tell the difference. They want to steal it, let them.

Yeah, I will just get a cheap one for now. No point to lose anymore unnecessary money.

Just to add on, although they did not steal the rear emblem, but those assholes scratched my car (back of the car, the curve just below the number plate).

Pissing me off.

Because USJ has many escape paths.. or USJ folks are generally more kiasi and higher concentration of educated folks, just need to ask politely and they shall hand over the keys..

by the way, how come our e90s dont come with alarms as standard??? at least that will scare them away. i dont know if i can fit bmw alarm and not void the warranty??

Back in the day, it was Alfa Romeo logos that went MIA ever so often.

In the 80's, My father used to finely "etch" his number plate onto the logo using the sharp end of a nail. 99% invisible, but thieves won't take anymore coz cannot sell
