I'm gonna be back for Wayang tokong Cina at the end of the month...game for a drive? then we go eat Wilboar Curry.

Hi Guys,

Anyone from Northern Site going to be join to be official member of the club?

This time I am going to be the "wait and see" guy since I was the only guy from Penang to go for the annual dinner. OGC

The T-Shirt that i just brought could be "out of date " already. didn't even wear it yet. ( bro gizmoz82, don't buy yet!! but if you wish to do so, i believe Fabian still has them)

Been busy lately, so couldn't join any TT.

BTW, just to inform that Penang will soon have our own Dynometer at Sg.Ara( the shop's name is Northern Garage) . it very near my office.
maybe can ask for group discount for dyno.
will update you guys after i kepo kepo ask the boss.

8080, so the news i heard on the dyno is true (I posted the same question in the Engine Tech section), any idea on the date that the dyno will be installed and become operational? Now I hope they will be properly trained in the dyno calibration.

By the way, any specific directions to Northern Garage? Is it near the shophouse opposite Pearl Garden, or further down after the Army Camp near the cemetery, or my dead reckoning is totally out (kaput, detuned, etc) this time...

How about Gold Coast? My friend has a partial furnished apartment there? What is your budget like?

Northern Garage is just at the shophouses opposite Pearl Garden, it's at the left corner unit just a few shops next to Magnum , Toto... get rich quick shop. The work is still on going in the workshop for the installation of the dynometer.
The boss previously works in MPower in Air Itam. Guess they're more in to Turbo Japanese Cars.
I'll drop by tomorrow to kepo about the price for a group dyno. Will keep everyone posted.

Pearl Garden is a nice place to live in as I used to live there for 5 years. Good Feng Shui too.
Will let you know if there's any units for rent.

Then the budget is out. The unit I mentioned has 4 air conds installed and furnished. Rental is Rm 2.0K. Close to the new Queensbay Shopping center.
 
Okay, should be no problem locating Northern Garage, relatively familiar with that area. Yes, the boss was one of the partners of MPower... that's one MPower that has nothing to do with BMW.

I have a few friends (and also my boss too) living in Pearl Garden, quite an okay neighbourhood, mostly professionals, and well managed (at least in the eyes of a visitor like me), I even heard that the monthly service charge has dropped as they have collected enough money, exact opposite from all other apartments.

Looking at that place as well.....but i heard some friends their cars got broken in during the holidays...scary as i only drive my car on weekends...
 
Aisay, Ade, so it's for you, look at it on the brighter side, there's a dyno shop somewhere across the road. :)

Don't think many people wanna break into BMWs, just make you don't leave anything (even remotely valuable) visible to people, except tissue paper boxes maybe... but I believe normal days are quite safe, and if you are not around (your car too) on holidays, don't hafta worry.

Yeah, back to the original topic, so any TT this weekend?
