I think I'll be able to make it...

OT, Where you guys do your balancing and alignment. Got a recommendation to do it at Goh Swee Hin but I heard they charge you quite expensive. My car seems to be tramlining alot on the road and the steering seems to have a lot of free play after I changed my control arm bush. Please help recommend by PMing me the place and estimated price....TQTQ...

Ade, I've done off & on-wheel balancing and alignment at the G.S.H. RM70.00 all in.

In Dato Keramat area, along Jalan Air Itam. Right next to the Shell station near the Methodist school.

RM70 seems reasonable.... what i head are prices ranging from RM150 above..yiaks! Are they any good?

yes...is along jalan air itam.....but beside GSH..any other goods shop aorund mainland kah...any recommendation for BW n BM guys.:confused:

Its Jalan Air Itam( heading to town)...say Along Puchong Kia lorry driver with Yellow E30 recomends.:D

Zoggee, Bilstein B8 is great but I didn't know with it cars can do whitewater rafting also???!! I will have some detour to one of the winding trunk roads next weekend on the way down south. Let me know when you're up for whitewater rafting.

haha..:D you can test ur B8 on the way to the whitewater rafting area. Osflanker was with me. Those guys that we joined were awesome.They are rock climbers, when they saw a flyover high enuf,they set up their tools and dwon they go..
awesome.:cool:

btw,only will be back on CNY..will call you up, we go test corners kay??
 
Ade, recommendations that I have for BMWs are also Goh Swee Hin, and the other one is Hock Cheong at Jln Dr Lim Chwee Leong (formerly Prangin Rd, opposite Southern Bank of Prangin Mall). Take note though that all these tyre shops will not put dummy weights on your seats and trunk like the recommendation from BMW.

Tramlining may also be related to the brand, model and size of tyres that you are using, some tyres tend to tramline more than the others.

Have been doing my alignment and balancing on my other car at GSH for a long time already (not to mention buying tyres and rims from them also), I always get them to follow my own specs for the toes and rear camber, which they will grudgingly abide. No complains from me so far. Will be doing the alignment for the 1st time on my E36 soon, have just gone 10000km since I bought the car.

I'm on Michelin Pilot Precedas...been on them for 30K kms...not that grippy compared to the Yokos I had them but far far quieter....which is a good thing...

Any idea what are the toes and camber for my N42 on MTECH sports setup?
