Yep, I drove a 1991 MR2 Turbo manual before with a targa roof. How does it compare with the E30 cab? The MR2 was more powerful, acceleration much faster being a manual. Interior was a lot more 'intimate' but ok even for tall person like me. With the targa panels off and windows down, got enough fresh air but noot the full open cabrio feeling. At 220km/h the car felt a little floaty tho. At full throttle coming out of a T junction, its possible to spin the car, even when roads are bone dry.....

Sounds like a great idea to meet up during KLIMs. Not sure whether can get any other E30 cabrio owners to come along. Maybe we can start a new thread with the suggestion..

About going to Genting, sounds like a good idea but i need to check to see whether will be on call for that weekend cos if I am... cant go out of Klang valley...

Hi Doc,

You may recall having met me to see my Merc Cabrio for sale about 1 1/2 years ago.

Well, you got a nice cab there mate, interior colour choice is excellent though beige is a little hard to maintain ... but beige is 'the' best combo in any car.

Piping on leather is another excellent choice, however in my opinion it should have been dark red or maroon to give that contrast effect. I did that in a merc before and it turned out great.

Also, the rear should have had piping as well in the centre (though I see it at the ends) to match the fronts to give a full interior combo than a 1/2 interior look.

Overall, nice choice and combo and a great car ... BMW!

My 2 cents worth as a Doctor Interior ... he he!

Yep, sure remember you and the E220 cabrio.... Zainal the singer got it in the end... and I sometimes see it near my home.... and yep, I am still hankering after one!!!

Having said that the E30 cabrio has just about all that i want... always wanted beige leathers with body colored piping.... in a cabrio...
