I have the answers is not a surprise , due to i always played around with the BMW remote and casing.

I only able to tell what i saw and what i have done.

I still waiting your flip key arriving.

I just placed an order to try out this key from ebay....http://www.ebay.com/itm/110939051108?item=110939051108&viewitem=&vxp=mtr. Hopefully it will work. I will get the blank key cut at local lock smith costing about RM80.00.

Herbert, once u got the key fob, and did the key cutting, lemme know if it does work.. Mine got it months ago but have not cut it until today.. Probably i will just use it for my spare key so nampak canggih skit.. At least can open boot and lock door enough lah.. The shop in ss2 recommended, the guy who can do the key always not available.. 3 times i went he was always not around.. Lemme know if you other place who can do ya.. Many thanks!!

Herbert already said rambolee is a trusted locksmith and soon will be the vendor and he able to convert diamond shape key to flip key but not mentioning is using original diamond shape or not. Why not you give this locksmith a try ?

Will try to come for mmz TT tonight and I will bring my new key fob and show you why it cannot fit nicely into e60 ignition switch as compared to e46 & e39.

Meaning you already know your flip key with original diamond shape remote cannot start your engine ?

I succeed to convert to flip key with original diamond shape remote which able to start the engine and recharge the battery. You can choose not to believe what i said.
