i think driving through 1 feet shouldnt be a problem.

1.5 feet, pretty sure, something will go wrong (whether now, or over a long period of time)

i saw a red F30 accelerating through a puddle when everyone moved away.

Don't play with flood water even at 1ft because there are waves caused by other cars or trucks and the wave could be 3ft.

I think its only feasible to do if the puddle of water is not too wide in diameter. If you'll to speed through a huge puddle, the waves will come hunting you. That's my 2 cents. Maybe someone with experience can verify.

F%CK BMW...bad after sales sevice,check my car more than 4 days no any news,finally today SA informed me that my car no warranty water damaged natural disaster,floods,blah blah blah...floods???not even more than a feet somemore all car can go through except my BMW F30 .

So have they repaired the car for you after 4 days in workshop? What the diagnostic or problem?

Oh no. This is bad. I am sorry for you. How can the damage be this bad as the water is not too deep. I would say most probably sensor or wiring problem and not likely to be mechanical. Bro, I have seen many new BMW stranded the same way like yours. I would think there could be some design of the car that is vulnerable to water puddle.

Splash by water can break down, the photo show water not really deep. Thats mean BMW cannot drive at raining season & cannot car wash too.

What a shame car, better sell my car too.
