My 2012 320d model
- USB and AUX in the middle console
- No USB on glove box
- No SMS or email display on I drive with Iphone5 or BB9700
- Not able to connect via Iphone using BMW CONNECTED with USB cable
- Can play songs via bluetooth or cable with the album art display.
- Can't update software via USB

I don't think 320 comes with any hard disk

Where is the sms display? on office? i can only see telephone number...

I'm using a HTC with 320D, can see emails, sms, get onto BMW live to read RSS feeds, weather, stream music thru bluetooth (album art sometimes, maybe I'm not copying it right).

320D does not come with Hard Drive and I think the same for 320i as well. If you have a hard drive then you will have a USB port in the glove box for transferring music into the hard drive.

yes , SMS display through office , u may also opt for the voice function to read out the message

the problem i think is they don't even allowed me to update the software. it says no USB devices detected, while i can use my USB to play songs.

Oh I see. Didn't know that. My e90 lci got 12gb hard disk and can transfer music into it via USB. Thought f30 newer car will naturally have.

Not for 320i, but 328i should have the HDD.
