Anyhow on grant stated Tahun Dibuat 2013.

SA said prod date is the date of first parts production and not total car manufacturing year.

Anyhow on grant stated Tahun Dibuat 2013.

Maybe they assemble the last part in 2013 and that counts as Manufactured in 2013. Lol...

Different between manufacture date and register date trough personal experience, i bought my c200 in 2007 (register year)but stated manufactured date 2006. Met an accident in 2012. The workshop sumbit a proposal repairing cost of 100k for original new parts but was rejected and the insurance co only approve half of the cost( second hand parts)the reason original parts only applicable for car purchase 5 years and below from the date of manufacture(2006) eventhough i bought the carbelow 5 years(2007). I let my wife drive the car and i am now a proud owner of fantastic F30

For my case, a check through realoem.com with my last 7 digit VIN showed production date 20th Sep 2012. But on my JPJ car registration grant, Tahun Dibuat i.e Manufactured Year is 2013 and Tarikh Pendaftaran i.e Date of Registration is also xx xx 2013

I think the one that matters is the year of manufacture as stated on the vehicle ownership card.

In the case of CKD, it's a local assembly here, so, the Production date is refer to Malaysia one or Germany one?

You have the right to cancel your booking if you so wish to. Check with another dealer for availability before making your decision.

i got 2013 f30 at 22nd FEB 2013.BUT now starting to have problem for me. The left rear light loose. Wind noise. If you still never make up your mind. Pls consider F30 NOT REALLY A GOOD MODEL.

I would consider these as minor problems that would have affected any other car manufacturers out there. Overall, I would consider the f30 a great looking car that's a joy to drive.

I received my car from AB Sg Besi in a week (Booking + Loans + D/P + Car Roll out from AB Sg Besi). Delivered March 1st 2013. They said they got plenty of stock for 328i Sport Alpine White. Been a week already and clocked 1.3K KM. Everything was good except that i think the suspension is a little to soft compared to my last car.
