Engine goes off

Hi guys,

Need your expert advice, my E60 525i has a issue with engine going off when I try reversing or when I am trying to move on on D. Can it be the battery or something else? It also happens when I am on a hump when I slow down it feels total power lost but does not go off. Any idea guys?

if you got no error on the I drive,then maybe there is a vacuum leak.check the intake hose between the MAF sensor and intake manifold.

I took the car to Selvam today to check it out and bro you are spot on, thanks bro for your input.

mine was the intake hose and diaphragm, you need to get it check by your trusted mechanic

Solenoid... Just change, now it's as good as new. Can go to ah wai, desa tun razak
