M3 is an excellant car. had the privilege of driving my bro in law's M3..not here but in aussie land la...was heaven..trying my best not to push the car..but could not resist..

only one word for it....perfect..AUD 170k full specs...sigh...here selling bout RM 6xxk?..damn taxes

Hah the UK is even cheaper, but they always complain saying their cars are expensive.

And why were you trying your best not to push the car? M3's are meant to be driven :top:

Steven7 there are two E92 M3's that i know of. WRF 3, WQU 8 both live in Duta, Bukit Tunku.

Does anyone know whats the soonest we can expect to see recon E92/3 M3's here in Malaysia? Whats the normal rule on that, and how much do you think the recons will be?

Dont think theres any units in East M'sia yet

I think the soonest is 2009, the new BMW M3 is selling like a Hot cake in europe country and also in Japan too~!!!

According to a friend who is in the parallel import biz, said his bringing in one unit end 3rd to 4th quarter of 2008. But his not sure on how much is the damage, Im taking a huge guess here but maybe in the proximity of 500k

selling like hot cake in europe and Japan now, a year down the road when they reach tehir first 10-15k miles..i believe then the used unit would also start selling like warm cakes..

Yes I agree. In UK, there are quite a few units for sale, an they said demand for the E92 M3 hasnt been as great compared to when the E46 M3 was first launched.

Some say its because they produced more units of the E92, I dunno, but whatever the reason, I hope that means we can see cheaper recond M3's here sooner :love:

apparently the DCT wud offer much improved stats than the manual.. rumors that the e92 csl wud come exclusively with dct also.. at least 20secs off in nurburgring..

Friend, why only one unit will be bringing in~??? as you know, there are many recons Nissan GTR on sales now~! so should bring in more unit lah~!!!

Our parellel or grey importer here would of course like to bring those GTR and M3 on second hand on sale in their countries now. So many GTRs in Japan now selling as second hand, same goes to manual E93 M3 in UK. Why only uk becos they're almost the only RHD country there.

But how come they are not brought in to Malaysia just yet...i reckon is becos of their manufacturing date is still too new and our goverment import tax is still way too high to be included in their selling price. FYI, Import duty for vehicles so called depreciate on DAILY basis from the manu. date. If we think buying a DEC 2007 manu car on Jan 1st 2008, they are treating it as 1 month old.
