Torquewise yes,the 320d is better,but powerwise the 325i rules.

Until then, they still spew more particulates into the atmosphere than petrols, and are therefore more polluting. Just ensure that the exhaust pipe points down to the ground so that it's not so obvious. But I bet even with Euro4 fuel, our buses and trucks will still belch sooty smoke in our faces.

I'm surprised to hear that you like Turbos... BMW used to be known for its N/A performance engine, until recently that ///M decided to go with Turbo... So sad. Turbo's are a great fun to drive, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't have that high-RPM racing feeling to it. Actually, the high-RPM raving is actually 1 of the bits I missed about the 325i. Maybe one day I might be able to afford a real ///M car.
If I'm not mistaken, I think you are about 21 years of age... Rather young. So if you really like turbos, the VW GTi will be suit you. Mods are easy as well.

For yr infor both are measurement of power but the term hp have have created some misconception that only hp is the measurement of power. actually torque is also a measurement of power but in a different way. both complement each other. Torque is the force power while hp is more on time and speed. Just imagine a lion has more torque power while a cheetah has more horse power.

supergripen;524963 said:The S204 is actually a very very good car that offers both performance, handling and practicality..and bombproof reliability.Of all the cars that u've mentioned, the S204 is probably the car a young guy like u should go for.If u are into turbos and performance, this is probably the safest car for u to have as well as it is designed and built for fast driving from the onset.
I used to own a 400bhp STi ver8..I can tell u its probably the best car I've owned so far, next to my 335i.
