Hello,If you were to buy a car, which one is your preference? The used 525 or the new accord?Thank you.:smokin:

Accord as it is a new car and resell value is much better... If you are a true driver and not only treating your ride as just a transportation then BMW is the right ride for you

Thank you.
:smokin:

If you like the smell of german car interiors, :top:buy the 5 series.

Ok the Question is Do you want to control the car or DO you want the CAR to control you? Accord is very boring to drive as i have driven the 08 Accord.

BMW.... thats will the first choice. Select a equally good condition and you will forget about the compariing with other cars . BMW got my vote and surely for a nice E39.:top::top::top:

asking this question in bmw forum sure answer is majority bmw, asking the same question in honda forum sure answer is majority honda.... btw my choice BMW ....

I was about to post the same thing as june_yap.
Why did't you try posting in those Proton forum ... maybe you'll get a more neutral responses.

My choice would be .... BMW.

Hello All,

I just want to know from the 525 riders, if you were to given a chance to choose again to buy the used 525 and new accord. What will be your selection?

Thanks for your contructive replies. No question about the UDM for the quality of rides and performance, and getting a good decent machine is important to support the believe.

Thx,

How important is warranty and support to you would be a question.

A fren test drive the new accord & later take a ride in my almost 11 yrs BMW, he said my car feel smoother & quieter. What if I let him in driver seat??? U know the answer of yr question:smokin:

P/S: Without prejudies. Result may vary dependable on the condition:rolleyes:

i rather pay the same $$$$ to own a bmw..and that what i did in year 2007 sept.. unregistered E39 525i..it,s cheaper than 2.4 accord ..bro end of the day i,t s ur choice..different flavour diff taste.

Japanese Korean Sedans is just soooo way back behind E39!
I have another Sonata NF 2.4 in the house. I hated it since the day I got my E39 530i hehehe.
Well, NF is bloody comfortable car compared to Accord/E39(M-Sport)/E46
But as a driver, its the engine note that makes me wanna drive!

bro,
You need to drive both and then decide for yourself. There is also a rather big difference in the pricing. New Accord RM 172k while a used 525i, say year 2002/2003 is around 130-145k. There are many factors to consider when choosing a car and it depends on individual. Some wants style, comfort, power, low maintenance...etc while others may put resale value higher in their priority list. Again, this forum is biased towards BMW.

Hi Jerman,

Thanks. agreed E39 is a technologically great car.

FYI, will accept delivery of Accord G8 this week. The reason is the concern of the re-sell value of the E39 in the next 2-3 years, knowing that the current E60 model will be due for replacement in 2009/10.

Another reason is to keep me motivated to get the E60 in the future, not getting the E39 will keep my dream alive...

Thanks!
