I'd come up with this idea, y not get a template for this thread, easy for ppl to update their list.

hi, sorry hav a hook on here jux to ask how is the maintenence fee for e30 compare to other car maybe like toyota seg o old proton wira? I'm really fall in love with it and wanna get one for myself but I'm worry bout the maintainence fee as u know my salary is not high and sure need to spend a lot when 1st get the car. What do we need to put more attention when checking out the car before buy?? Thx...

This thread seems to have gone cold .... e30 so realiabe ah ? :wink:

Recently the temperature on my e30 318i (M40) shot up into the red after a few minutes of driving. Changed the thermostat for about 50 bucks & all was OK again. Apparently the old thermostat failed to allow the coolant to circulate into the radiator when the temperature rose.
