thanks for the comment, actually, why do you have the impression that installing Dynamet takes such a big endeavour that threathen to void your warranty? Trust me, its a very simple procedure, plus, there is wire cut or electrical connection installed.!!!! what's the fuss.... lets not split hair shall we.

Dynamat have a list of products for the car, some for the hood, some to apply inside the door, etc.
When there is an fire in your engine compartment and bmw finds out that you have dynamat extreme under the hood then....

It may not be caused by dynamat but the dynamat will introduce new variables into equation.

Auto Bavaria refuses to rectify my power windows problem because they told me that i have an after market component speakers installed. Go figure.

I am not naive, just that i have some experience involving after market accessories and with warranty issues.

BTW not all orgasm are good. You may shiok initially but later found out you have contracted some 'problems' from some unknown girls or shall i say suppliers?

I think dynamat is a good product and it makes a big difference to Japanese and proton. However, to a newer BMW, it's probably only going to be minimal and not apparent difference which you would notice

I would put it on an old e34, e36. But not on newer version as the damping is pretty good enough.

Butyl is essentially Bitumin with higher heat tolerance properties.. again, I won't argue here like what IQ5 said earlier and take the package as it is.

Nobody beats Lexus when it comes to this noise damping topic, even their engine is wrapped from top to bottom with thick spongee material.

Able to listen to the E90 engine and exhaust node is part of the joy of owning the BMW because even that, there's a department in BMW AG to specially tune the pitch of each model to be unique, no 2 BMW models sound alike, go figure.

There's no end to additional layers to Butyl in the doors, some use more than 1 layer and eventually, might as well drive with ear mufflers.. (kidding here.. )

Maybe we are really missing something here but its alright and thanks for sharing with us.
