Does your ciiggee lighter work when you press it. It could only be the fuse.

Sometime the problem is due to dirty contact because of the ash in the lighter.

Need to clean it if it is dirty but disconnect the fuse first lah. :smokin:

it doesn't work at all.... probably use to work before, i don't know. can direct me to the fuse change thingy ar....

no dirty contact as i don't use it at all as i don't smoke.....

need to check the fuse diagram later....

btw, fuse box got spare fuse ar??

where to get new fuses??

pening....

Open glove compartment and you see 2 white knob on the top of the compartment.

When you turn the 2 knobs, the fuse block will dropped down showing the fuses.

There should be a fuse chart in the fuse block.

Mine is Fuse #47. Amp Rating is 20 Amp. Yes, there should be spare there. If dont have can buy from any accessory shop lah. BTW, the spare fuse is placed in the horizontal manner.

On mine, the fuse of the charger blew. Check both fuses. :)

The heater release spring is bend. When the temperature is correct, it will expand and allow the lighter to pop out. Due to people using charger, this spring got bend a bit. Quite hard to explain. Only way to check is to compare with the one that is working..

Thanks Jarance, I will try to see that spring.
I think it can be bend to its original position.

Remember to remove the fuse you bend it. I blew the fuse before when I forgot to remove the fuse.

thanks jarance.... haven't gotten the time to look into this actually....

Affan, the charger works in my other car..... it's for the BB....

This one easy, the socket has 2 metal grab to grab the ciggy lighter when pressed in and release once heated. The metal grab loosen over time due to frequent use and some fingering can help.. :D I use my nail to dig them out, bit by bit and don't ever bend them. Don't use metal object because both the +ve and -ve terminal in the socket is just mm apart.. or u unplug fuse first, fingering is the best.. :p

Because u know QD is smart enough to test it out in another car to confirm the BB charger works.. :D

The fuse #47 as pointed out my Jarance is the yellow 20 amp fuse in the lower left deck, slot number 6 from the right starting from the central vertical divider..

those middle horizontal row of fuses if not wrong, are spares..
