Hi, i notice that the top tether option, and on our ride it is located at near the speaker right??? if i use the car seat in rear facing position, do i still need to use the top tether???? because on the owners manual, the top tether for rear facing is to the car's floor anchoring point, where else ours is at the top...
Ok...after some research and checking out several isofix, latch and non-isofix seats, bought the Chicco isofix seat. Its forward facing, for 12mths+ and can be reclined. Has small base footprint and i think it looks good in the beemer too

... That was why i chose Chicco over Recaro. The Recaro has to be fully upright when forward facing.
The Chicco has a fixed back seat frame whereas the recaro does not, and this allows it to recline in 5 positions. The back seat frame keeps the seat flush with the car seat. You are not suppose to install the recaro in a recline position when forward facing bcos there will be a gap between the car seat and the lower part of the recaro.
