Can both the springs and shocks fit from a E46 2.0 (post-facelift) to E46 1.9 (pre-facelift)? Configuration same ah?Looking for feedback. Thanks bros....

wah leakwoon, u damn kau fast to reply ...hehe..
i got reason la for mtech, the eibach and bilstein second choice lor...

Both are different, the M-tech pre facelif and post facelift. Facelifted M-techs are stiffer and not as comfy but provide less roll and sharper steering response. I also noticed that the ride height of facelifted Mtechs are slightly higher compared to pre-facelift ones... Just my observation.

bro dun la

u think again la

later the shockie KONG oledi

u get back "ori" m tech shockie

u will be shocked for the price !

E46F, thanks... but can it fit from post-facelift to pre-facelift model?

if kong maybe can fit with stock shockies leh ....yours currently eibach and stock, will kong quite fast :D ...mtech not so stiff/low ma, if fit with stock wan not so fast la ...hehe

At the outset, it has to be noted that M-Technik suspension is BMW's sport suspension.

From what I can recall, car magazines said that the facelifted E46 in STOCK form actually used the pre-facelift E46's sport suspension, whereas the facelifted E46's sport suspension is stiffer than pre-facelift E46's sport suspension! So, transferring the pre-facelift E46's sport suspension to a stock facelifted E46 could be a pointless exercise...

This is not true ler.. Facelifted E46 has uprated spring and damper settings and are stiffer than stock pre-facelift E46. The M-technik sports suspension on the other hand actually sits lower than stock pre-facelift and facelift. Also the anti roll bars are thicker than stock. Both facelift and pre-facelift have same rollbar diameters, but M-techs are thicker. Part numbers for shocks and springs also differ M and non M suspension packages.

i duno la

but i compare with my stock and with my current now

lowered + 18"

macam driving lorry in traffic jam

dont need wat bar wat bar wat cocolate bar also

:(

E46 2.0 6 pot and E46 1.9 4 pot is it? if yes, the spring and shock rate was different i think.

Mont-o, the E46 2.0 is a 4 pot ...2000cc valvy...

to all my humble bros ....so how la :dunno: Can the m-tech springs & shocks from a E46 2.0 4 pot valvy (post-facelift) fit a E46 1.9 4 pot (pre-facelift)?
