I love my car more after the wheels changed :)

I don't think so, sir! I suggest you go for white tail lights instead. That would really match your colour too! Oh, get 'em chrome trims for your exhaust. E46F got his FOC from AB Glenmarie!

I have seen blacklines (white tail lights) on Titanium Silver and it's not so attractive (in my opinion & preference). I still prefer the original look now. The blacklines on silver or lighter coloured cars look very much like japanese cars! However, blacklines goes very well with darker coloured cars. We have several threads discussing about this before.

Yes, chrome exhaust tip will be very nice too. In fact I have tried asking it for FOC from AB when I bought my car last year but.... too bad I dun have the luck to get it :( Anyway, I have ordered the chrome exhaust tip from Sapura Auto. Will be coming in a week or two.

hi david,

i am also thinking of the pro kit but the only thing that is stopping me now is i don't know whether the ride will be harsh..... do you anybody who has got it fitted!!!! any maybe we can sit in and have a feel in it....

as far as aftermarket lowering springs go, the eibach pro-kit is widely discussed as the favorites for ride comfort over the popular H&R Sport. It has a nice drop too, nothing overdone (1-1.2"). Stay tuned for my comprehensive mini review after my scheduled install on May 5th.

The price I got here is RM 1,200.00 for the Eibach Pro-Kit. I will not install it till our friend KL2DC install his on 5th May and give us his review. Will only make decision then. By the way, how much are you getting for the Eibach Pro-Kit ?

David, I paid $249 shipped (it was $214 plus shipping), about RM300 difference, not too much. I missed a lightly used set for sale on e90post for $150, I would've gone with that tbh.

It'll be about $300 for install, this is where it'll kill me. I figure your labor/install should be significantly cheaper. How much would it be?+

Our price is inclusive of labor/installation. For example, the price I got RM 1,200.00 is the set inclusive of installation. Even you tell them that you do not need installation, they will also charge you the same price :) By the way, you are still getting it much cheaper than us. USD 300 = RM 1,050.00.

david,
now i dunno whether they overcharge you or the one i am buying are imitation. I was quoted RM980 without instaliation in Batu Pahat...

Wow... then I need to double check the pricing here. I have been negotiating hard with that fellow and the best he can offer is RM 1,200.00. No way that he can offer lower than that price. Maybe I need to check with other shops.

David, that's $300 for labor only, on top of the $249 I shelled out for the springs. Even that its considered cheap but hey RM1,200 installed is a great price!!!

Hi Beemers3,

Thanks for sharing. How much would your mechanic here in KL charge for the installation which inclusive of adjusting the cambers and doing alignment after the installation ?

hi david,
I don't whether you come across this workshop in shah alam or not.... it called Loon Power.... I believe the price is around Rm200.... Normally car workshop do not have allignment machine... I think it cheap bcos Ang Trading is charging me RM300 without allignment.......

Hi beemers, if that is the case the price will come to the same amount. RM 980 + RM 200 = RM 1,180.00 which is not much of different from the price I got at RM 1,200.00 inclusive of everything.

hi david,
true enough, I am also looking at other workshop too now.... we must remember E90 is a relatively new car....so not much people have actually done anything to it yet....i am jus afraid this guy might jus take our car as a guinea pig......if they mount the spring wrongly or if the spring do not sit properly on the absorber cup then it will be a very bouncy ride.... ( i mean that what i think will happen...) I might be wrong.....

That why when i check with Ang Trading... they are willing to do it for me...at least the technician there are train with BMW rather than any other makes
