Patrick,

Do you mind telling me where did you get those black stripes on the bumber from. Cheers.........It really look good on your car dude ........cheers..

Dude, those bumpers are complete replacement. I think you were referring to the m-tech rear bumper's rear diffuser.

Them spacers are only 15mm, dude ..... installed them at a place in Segambut. Would recommend you to go for 20-25mm :D as the wheels will sit nicer.

I don't recommend going that big on spacers eventhough, aesthetically it'll be as Equalizer says. You don't want to overstress the hubs. I would go as far as 18mm at the extreme. 15mm is fine for the 160 setup.

...and guess what, the white interior! It's suppose to be grey but looks pretty snow white to me! E46F thinks it's a new colour called Cream Beige but I'm yet to confirm this.

Ha...now you got even me all excited for your upcoming delivery...

As discussed before, arctic in sunny places is a good bet.

Was your interior mono or two-toned. I suspect you may have the jade grey two-tone interior which is close to white. That'd be very nice! We don't get that option here in the US but I have seen pics of it, very classy and a good match to arktis. I hope you're a clean person :p Try not to wear black leather or wet jeans and have plenty of leather cleaner/conditioner handy.

Can't wait for those pics.

Isn't it funny how this pic thread has become a chat thread too  lol

KL2DC,
Thx a million for d advice. I talked to the ppl SA at Sapura Auto and they say spacers are not recommended. Makes me think again. What say u dude? Oh ya....those are called diffuser huh.... I kinda like them. How much it cost down there?

The car is currently at a dim and dingy covered car park in Subang where AB keeps their stocks pending PDI. So, I couldn't see the interior very well. I checked with AB again and they have confirmed that the leather is in fact Jade Grey and yes, it's two-toned! I got picts but can only post when I get home tonite. Oh, there's a concern with the dash though cos that's not two-toned. It's in all black!! The showroom car I saw a few months back had two-tone dash i.e. top layer in black with bottom part matching upholstery colour. Frankly, I don't mind the black mono-tone dash. Too much "white" can be daunting, makes me wanna confess everything when I'm in a total white environment! Oh, the black sparkling trim (what's that called? Pls forgive my ignorance!) is gorgeous! Much better than the brushed aluminium I was expecting.

From pics Creme Beige seems lighter compared to Jade Gray

Hey guys. Tried to post like 10 picts but experienced so many failures. I think this has to do with my lack of experience. It was so much easier in the old forum. Let me try this again when I return from a function.

Thanks guys! Esp. for making me feel much better for forking out that kinda dosh. Yet again, the price of RM338K seems OK if you consider that a CLK 200K costs about almost half a million and may not feel "special" cos there's more on KL roads. The 3 coupe is still so rare. There's a new 6er parked at my condo which I'm looking forward to park next to since we have the same number plate i.e. single digit "6". I wonder what would be the 6er owner's reaction!

Tried to post picts of the interior, which seems odd, but I like it for that reason! I kind understand Equalizer's gripe on the absence of LCD screen binnacle but well, it's never an ideal world ain't it?!

Yeah, kinda looks naked, isn't it  ..... Besides, the small ledge where the LCD screen is on the E60, is a handy place for sunglasses.

New pics....

JP's new arktis/jade grey E92 323i. Looks great...can't wait for the mods.

Thanks KL2DC! The car seems a bit high now cos it's not been driven and will still need to be transported by a loader to Seremban for Puspakom inspection and registration. So, they've placed a contraption to elevate the suspension before putting on the loader. The suspension will then be made normal during the PDI phase. If all goes to plan, I should have my car by end of this week. Fingers crossed.

Yes, as JP says, you can see the shipping blocks are in place in his pre-PDI car. The shipping blocks are installed to enable the cars to comfortably clear the on and off ramps onto the transport ships (Ro-Ro carrier ships). They are also installed to prevent excessive suspension compression as the cars are securely tied down to the bulkhead on the sea voyage over.
