Possible cheap-ish problem: faulty wheel speed sensor - RM270

Possible expensive problem: faulty ABS module - RM1400

Your car now does not have ABS/ASC until its fixed...dont brake or corner too hard.

Yes it has effect on ur car. As haywire said no ABS function until it fix and in this time u can drift ur car if u are a drift king. Alot of our members also driving the BMW car without ABS function due to changed the engine to Toyota 1j or 2j. If u not a drift expert better fix it fast.

This u need to ask for those love to speed on high way. 1 of my friend put Toyota 1j boost the hp to 480hp. Just recently got another friend owned e46 changed to Toyota 2j.

Cheap engine which can have M series car power. Maintenance also cheaper.

i never pressed the asc button just because i don't know what is it for. plus it just a button without light unlike the pdc. eh mine is dsc not asc. are they the same.

I will change it to Toyota Hilux diesel turbo 2500cc engine if my engine totally gong. This engine is consuming RM110 for over 700km in city drive and it more powerful then my 2500cc engine.

Serious or not u can have a test to current new Hilux with manual gear. My friend is using this Hilux for deliver the excavator, chain loader and other loader spare parts. This is every worst than city drive due to this kind of spare parts is very heavy.

Yes I know the power of Toyota engine in HILUX, so many of them in Sarawak and Sabah. my question is .... Is it possible to install the HILUX engine in BMW? If it's possible am sure many jump into that idea especially for big fat 5series

The size of Toyota Hilux engine is as big as Toyota 1j and BMW car able to fit Toyota 2j too. So putting Toyota Hilux engine sure no problem.

i recently replaced my front left wheel speed sensor but apparently the abs fault indicator still flashing and scanner still showing the error. plus after replacement, new code error came out called "valve relay". no idea what is the real problem? anybody experienced the same before?

Then you have to change the remaining 3 bro and if all fails, it cud be your abs pump itself is giving the problem.

I have new Clear error Scanner. Come to find me see can clear the error first or not.

Ur car is using DSC or ASC ? Need to check the sensor is fully plug or not. Ur speed meter is working now ?

My scanner is call MT801 BMW Scanner. This scanner is mainly clear the error which not able to clear by BMW scanner 1.4. The error from EGS and DME normally not able to clear by BMW scanner 1.4, u might need inpa to clear it. But MT801 can does all this staff.

i actually went to BA just now and asked about the relay, they brought out one ABS relay for e39 but i did not take it because i cannot confirm the part number. haih.
