It is time to change tyre, I am looking for a suitable tyre for my car, I need 215/45 R17 91V tyre,i need to compare within 3 tyres.
Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25,Michelin PS3 or Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT?

If I may suggest, the goodyear assy 2 is a very good tire. It actually did better against the ps3 during wet braking (read it from a review).

But since if you r only considering these 3 range, my vote goes to ps3.

I vote for ps3 too. But i use Toyo T1R for my car, value for money.

ya choose Michelin PS3,you won't find better than this,
i used this brand for 3 years ,tis tyre no tyre noise, have stable grip and can lasts longer.

duh just pick the cheap one will do la.. all tyre almost same..
or if u dun mind, buy second hand tyre lah, sure will be cheaper than any of it.. :p

Angelchua, the list that u have given seems good choice. Very hard to choose. But I still prefer Michelin PS3, I suggest u try out Michelin PS3. This PS3 has better cornering and 3m shorter breaking distance for wet roads. It is also 10% more wear life and more fuel saving.

I couldn't locate the site of the test result. I can recall the dry performance being at par, but the GY performed better during wet braking.

Furthermore, the GYs are made in Germany whereas some PS3s are made in Thailand.

anglechua ,u dont simply choose any tyre. i think u better choose tyre that can use in a long time.

I use Toyo T1R for my E46. Well, all I can say that is value for money. Excellent on both wet and dry condition so far.

Hi all, test results from tyrereviews.co.uk for PS3:
Dry Grip
91%
Wet Grip
90%
Road Feedback
86%
Progressiveness
85%
Wear
76%
Comfort
85%
Buy again
82%

For Toyo Proxes T1 Sport:
Dry Grip
92%
Wet Grip
83%
Road Feedback
88%
Progressiveness
84%
Wear
71%
Comfort
80%
Buy again
79%

So, dry grip wise, evenly matched as well as comfort, road feedback and progressiveness. But in the wet, PS3 is superior. I have used PS3 at the front for the past 4 years on my E39. Still going strong. Michelin comes with 6 years warranty so in case of bengkak or whatever .... So, if price difference is significant, go for PS3.

That said, I'm considering T1 Sport for my rear which are currently PS2. PS2 has Wear score of 81%, Comfort score of 88% and Dry Grip score of 94%. Supposedly more lasting than PS3 but wore out faster because have to deal with the power channeled to the rear. T1 Sport replaces the T1-R. Score wise, T1 Sport is so much better than the tyre it replaces but is quite a bit below PS2. Just that PS2 is so much more expensive now. Shucks.... gotta find something more affordable. I haven't used Toyo before.

I had Dunlop Direzza on my E39 prior to the current set of Michelins. They're quite poor in terms of comfort.
