Kwell Fabs, thats a great idea, i mean the plastic cover. I hate those little chips i keep getting and currently no way of polishing pits off glass. So how much for the new shades........ and do they come without the leds..........

Secondly how secure are they, using tape to secure to the aluminium rings.......hmm, i know where u live............

It's not that easy to remove them without taking off the black grill... the grill does hold them in place apart from the tape... ...:p

AS for how good it'll stand against yellowing, too soon to tell...

not tht bad wht hor.....quite bright...considering tht its LED

Considering that the ring is being put on the outside of the lamp, we can use any size angle eyes as long as they are not bigger then the lamp itself.......Can use e36 CCFL liew................ :yahoo: :eek:k:

The only problem with this setup is when the headlights are switch on, the angel eyes wouldnt be visible anymore.

Someone DIY this on the E34 before......didnt like the frog eye look too :) :p

That is true.. but for me, primary reason is the protection from chips... it doesn't look that bad ..

Let's see how good are the plastic lenses...

The lense will be good for track days hehehe. Does the angel eye come with the super bright LEDs??

Hahah..it's all for show and looks mar.. :D Fabian, these are the ones Dan got eh? Nice and bright!

Hmmmmmmmmm, must ransack my mom's tuperware cupboard to see if she has tub that is right size to find over my lamps......cabut.....

the main interest for me is actually the cover as protection from stone chips.
wonder if they sell jus the lense cover for replacements.
The cover is plastic..so im sure there are replacements and it wun cost so much..hmm..

not taht bright when the dipped light is on but as most would know. I don't do non-performance mod.. so it's more for the cover..
