Anyone has experience with this car. :)It's a MPV, 1.8L Auto. Fully imported from Thailand with the price tag of RM 116K.

Walrus Lord bought a nice black one and took delivery about a month ago.

Also my sister bought one about 3 months ago as well and is very pleased with the car. They tested the wish, stream and nabira and ended up going for the Nabira. Its quieter, more flexible seating, feels more solid and has a quieter engine than both cars. However, the Stream 2.0 had better performance.

I had a look at the car and despite the car being CKD'ed in Thailand, all parts seem to come from Germany. Even the glass is our familiar BMW glass (Sekurit/Pilkington) and if you pop the hood and look inside, you'll see lots of parts with Made in Germany stamped all over the engine bay. I was pleasantly surprised.

They say its shorter than their Perdana V6 and easier to drive cos of the seating position as well.

If you compare it to the Innova, it a much better buy as its not a van like ladder frame chassis and leaf springs like the Innova and a car-like floor plan and great suspension layout on the Nabira, making it ride, drive and handle much better than the Innova. Also much better built and solid than the Innova.

Walrus Lord any comments so far?

hi e46f..

thanks for the construtive comments and thanks to dragosani.

Just looking around at the moment. Window shopping. Btw, I read that the new Zafira in UK is out. Would it come to Malaysia soon ?

i own chevrolet nabira aka opel zafira. all the parts are pure opel. even the engine is opel. so far, the car has no problem. the steering feel is much much much better than my e46.

thanks eddie.

I heard that new version of Zafira is out. Hicommobile might bring in the new model.

Anyone knows about this ?

Ya I heard the current Nabira has stopped production and the new model should be out anytime soon. Addresses the weakness of the outgoing version which is low gear shift position, lack of cubby holes for storage which are the main complaints from Nabira owners so far.

A friend of mine sold his e36 328 and opted for a nabira recently ...

He is a happy man i'd say .

Oh yeah elwine... remember one of our forummers last time saintmailkal ..

He sold his 318 and went on for the nabira too....

He is now the chevy club prez...

check with him mate ..

cheers :D

For the family man or those who want lots more space, this car is tough to beat.

Did KL to Awana Kijau in 3 hours. Top rated speed of 180 km/hr but managed to push 195 km/hr with some Vitamin B installed.

Handling is far-out for a MPV but will lose to UDMs in tight line conering.

Car is now 8 months old with about 20,000 km on the clock. Worth every penny. Any one interested can always PM me and I can get some good deals for you. Yes the new Nabira will be out in November but the price will be in excess of RM 150 k vs the current RM 110 k.
