Setiap buku itu mengandungi antara 180 hingga 350 muka surat. Anggaran jumlah muka surat bagi 8 buah buku itu ialah:A.700B. 1440C. 1600D. 2800Jawapan: _______?

Selamat pagi Cikgu Albundy...question is correct and i have the answer but not the working. here is another similar question:

Seorang peniaga telur ayam mendapat hasil jualan antara RM156 hingga RM200 sehari. Anggarkan jumlah hasil jualan yang diperoleh peniaga itu dalam bulan Ogos:

A. 4830
B. 4890
C. 6200
D. 6280

Jawapan: B

Answer to earlier question: C

180+350/2 = average number of Pages = 265 X 8 Books = 2120

either its wrong or the multiple choice answer printed is wrong, or Im with stupid...

but seriously have encountered b4 whereby it was printing error.

Ps: above calculation is not from me......

in some question, they looking for the nearest number. so the answer c is correct. had this issue when i was in form 3. maybe the same case, or maybe not......

Minimum number of pages = 1440 if all books are 180 pages
Maximum '' '' '' = 2800 '' '' '' '' 350 ''

Only in between answer is 1600.

But what if all books are 180 pages or 350 pages? Then B,C and D also correct.

form3!? this only std 6 ...wahliao! no wonder now a days the kids abit cuckoo...hahahhaa

Question 1 is typo mistake.

If answer is 1600, then the number of pages per book is 1600/8=200.

The only way the pages is 200 if 350 - 150.

but this is also wrong.

Say if you have pages from 150 to 160 and printing on 1 sides, you will need 6 pages.

1 page - 150
2 page - 151
3 page - 152
4 page - 153
5 page - 154
6 page - 155
...
11page - 160

That means the formula to use is (End page No - Start Page No) +1

Or if the there is no typo error, this means that the formula is also use to calculate the payment for PKFTZ project..

Use less but pay for more. Malaysia boleh

actually... i am using UPSR math questions as IQ test for hiring new employees. the good ones are often able to answer all except these weird questions. to my surprise many get below 80%, even those with SPM cert. they normally fail to answer questions related to unit conversion eg. ml to l, kg to g and naming the figure in a million eg. how much is 5 in 1.05 million... even one working for 20years at a large multinational companies cant answer...no wonder he got retrenched. its not even funny...

bro.. I dont know the answer to 5 in 1.05 million. Is this a trick question.

Heh I believe a lot of this is forgotten over time. Everything in life is all about practice. The more you practice it the more apt you are at it.

Have you guys ever watched the game show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?". Catch it some time and you'll see what I mean.

Honestly speaking I doubt I would be able to answer some of the questions as well. Maybe the easier mathematical questions would be easy but anything with a twist would probably cause some havoc with me... LOL.

A. 50
B. 500
C. 50,000
D. 500,000

take a guess...

I think u need to use dy/dx to solve the problem.. :D

Nothing wrong with the question nor answer and yes, the both answers given make perfect sense and CORRECT. I just helped my son to answered one similar question few days back who's in Std 4.

Q1:
The logical answer is "C" where (180x8) < "C" < (350x8), 180x8 being min while 350x8 being max possibility.
So you get 1440

48 + 6 / 12 =

A. 4.50
B. 48.05
C. 48.50
D. 50.00

many got wrong too... even with help of a calculator

I guess sometimes you have to "think" like the people that setup the questions.

Ess530i, your company can also use the TST test, many MNCs have use this and I have tried it. Quite effective I would say.

Cheers

If u use a normal cheapo calculator, u will press 48 + 6 / 12 and u get 4.5.. :D
