E60 525i Sports FL Residuals

I was wondering if the engine actually pushes out 218BHP as it is still a 2.5l engine whilst the UK 525i SP comes with a 3.0l engine with 218BHP. If so then it must be pretty stressed. However, it is 20NM lower in torque relatively.

Does it come with direct injection as well?

Bundy, 530i is above company budget. I do wish that the FL525i is a 3.0
