normally people celebrate 'EVE' more happening ,,,, than the actual day itself!!!!-picture shown are what happening during 'EVE' .... and today, 25th dec supposed to be the real christmas day, same place.... very quiet:listen:-the coming 'new year eve' will be the same.....-this has been happening form few years back.....-even the police can't do anything!

This is terrible. It's the people's mentality. They treat the whole world except their own homes as a giant thrash can. No civic-consciousness whatsoever. Sad sight....really sight for sore eyes.

Something is seriously wrong with us Malaysians!

But you can't truly blame people for doing this. Walk around KL and see now many trash cans one can find. When comparing to Orchard Road in Singapore, you will find a trash cans every 50 meters.

DBKL already knows that there's going to be a street party and they surely didn't include trash cans in their so-called plans! Everybody is to be blamed here!

including those foreigner like arab , orang putih , and niger also join the street party!
- sometimes motorist like cars, bikers, 4wd, police cars also being spray with this 'aerosol snow'
- also being throw with the empty cans...
- also create fight and anger....

you will pop up your eyes when you see it with your own eyes during this coming 'NEW YEAR EVE', bukit bintang...
-happy new year to all.....

i would say malaysians are very jakun when it comes to parties. Just because there is no trash can gives them no right to dump 'em on the ground. Bring own garbage bag la.. or is it not glamorous?

I would avoid this places as much as possible because I think it is lawless and there are seriously sick people on the streets whether intentionally or not. :(

bros, this happens every year in Bukit Bintang and Penang Gurney Drive. Car and public property are not spared. Solution : Ban the celebrations. Stay home and watch tv. May be very boring but these buggers deserve it!

That's why I just stay at home washing my UDM whenever got any celebration.
Just dun like the crowd & attitude:stupid:

I'm utterly speechless! What a bunch of hooligans!

Why didn't the authorities deployed the FRUs? Isn't this an illegal gathering? They are quick to deploy the FRUs with water
canons etc when there's some peaceful gathering like candle light vigils but NOT THIS???!!! WTF!

This reflects very badly on the govt. and it's people.

Shame shame.

Like having a party on that particular day would make your balls bigger and stronger. Freaking stupid Malaysians.

this is what they called NIMBY syndrome..not in my back yard....u can litter anywhere everywhere but not in my compound..this is the mentality of...emmmm...many of us....yeah, i want the government to build the giant incinerator to solve garbages prob..do it do it..but in my area?...no no no....other people's area? can can can.....

one thing that the gov can do meantime is to BAN the usage of the hazardours snow spray just like BAN the pirated DVD or the fireworks / mercun..
how is this?

Yes they're banned but still widely available.

....celebrating something means u like the thing. It should be with clean and happy feeling certainly NOT like this......looks uncivilised.

( errr....... cik kak Salina.. your avatar...macam kenaaaal je anak kambing tu. )

malaysia like 'jail' ..so when got chance to create havoc and can get away with it..become like this lah.

we're only being what typical young civilization is. it takes a long time to mature.

It will happen again on New Year's Eve.

I was stuck in front of Sungai Wang on X'mas Eve at 11.44pm. I went through without knowing there was a street party. Took me 20 minutes to get out of the party street. My car came out with this bath foam thing all over and some pink stringy spray thing all over my bonnet. My wife wondered where I went the next morning!!!!!!!

What to do... the ones decorating/ spraying the cars were kids as young as 7 or 6 years old. All I could do was smile at them, wave and 2 thumbs up.

i got some photos from year 2003 christmas eve...looks like it aint gonna change...but enjoy the photos :)

worst victim has got to be the audi tt...most people drove by slowly and reluctantly smiling at the crowd but this tt stepped on it out of anger and the crowd just went crazy & started throwing spray cans on the car...one of the most uncivilized behavior i have witnessed in KL...worse than the drug addicts

be warned...never take ur UDM to KL on christmas or new year's eves...until maybe 50 yrs later

wc9922...just wondering how difficult was it to wash off the foam?
