Its big bucks!!! Not everyone is a high roller like you :D

Seriously, a BBK is down on my mod list....right on top is suspension and rolling stock. Stock brakes do their thing....

better still, buy those plastic Brembo calipers cover...cheap and nice :p

No. Cheap but not nice. Malu eh. I thought of that one too. But its like driving a 520i and putting all the M5 kit on it with no impact to driving pleasure. Horrible. Just horrible. Hahaha.

KL2DC, last time when I put EBC green stuff brake pad to my Audi A4, the brake pad do have brake pad sensor though....are u sure the expensive Brembo don't have the brake pad sensor?

mmmm, shouldn't it be plugged into the caliper then the pad?

you guys actually buy the sensors at every pad change?

I just do it the old way, just have a peek once in a while.

AB told me that the sensors need not be replaced at every pad change if you change the pads before the sensors are triggered (ie. before the pads hit minimum thickness); the untriggered sensor can be re-used.

If the sensors do trigger, I think they have to be replaced if you don't want the brake warning indicator on the dash to light up permanently.

er, ok.
I never did get the experience to find that out for myself.

Thanks, we learn something new everyday.

True, Fittin brembo bbk will disconect u from the pad sensor.. i juz did mine so as adliz said muz see 4 urself.

keN330, how much u paid for the brembo bbk? which workshop u go? I tried to survey around for brembo for my e90, but not much tyre shop have it yet....:(

Brembo produced standard Brake Disc and Performance Disc. Unfortunately in Malaysia when brembo is mention, everyone seems to think it is only a high end performance disc. The standard Brembo disc fits without affecting the sensor pad etc. When you put those oversized brembo performance disc, there is possibility that the sensor pad might affected. Bes to check with the mechanics, or Calvin our forumer at Euromotorsport who sells them.
