Roof fabric gone down....E46 2.0 318i 2002

    All...Just wonder if any of you had this issue before. My roof fabric already went down not sure how to fix and where to fix. I think overtimes the glue had degraded and that is why the roof fabric went down. Please advice on where and how much to fix it.

    i have the same problem too. rather embaressing i must say. people ask me about it and i tell them its the new airbag system!

    bro, think you could get it fixed...got this from other threads... should not be too expensive though...

    Actually, it is not the glue that is degraded but the foam material between the fabric and the roof.

    The fabric can be replace at any auto cushion shop.

    Try this.........Albert, Jalan Ipoh 012-3820613 or Lok, Cheras Maju 03-90752927. Both are expect in dealing with Mercedes and BMWs. Depending on the fabric, the roof including the 4 pillars will cost about RM 600-700. At least 5 hours job.

    I replaced mine in Gosford JB, RM400 all included.

    mine already done last month...cost me RM400. Fabric like ori....org x perasan yg kita dah tukar kain baru!!
    cushion workshop near Loh Guan Lye hospital,Penang.
    Really puas hati with their work...!! all clips being keep and place properly....they takecare our car.

    me lastime also just 1 spot that is on the top of the front passanger. and then drop to all. huhu

    kshapawi, since u r at cyberjaya. just come to seri kembangan. is near for u. this shop next to my office is doing it for rm400 too. color is available in black too...the address is, no 13, jln psk 2, pusat perdaganggan seri kembangan, 43300 seri kembangan sel.

    hi there,just to share.mine done at aneka cushion keramat..cost bout rm450..depend on fabric..simple tips..don"t lower your window while pecut!!!

    mine kene same problem also..few days ago...have to tie it up with ropes..hahahaha,
    call one shop, he quoted me RM300, but need to see the car first..so I budgeted around 500 la, going to replace the whole fabric inside the car..

    No need to use rope.. Saw one with pins here and there to hold the fabric up.. Not noticeable until you feel it.

    cost me rm400 in sban 4 my e32.....6hrs job
