    Dude,

At that price level ... there are ALWAYS better options. Mid level offerings from DLS, Focal, PHD, MB Quart, CDT, Alpine, and other established brands will provide you better sound quality and value for money. Let us know if you need some suggestions ... start another thread so that our ICE Meister won't merajuk that we hijacked his thread !!! Hahahahahaha !!!

    Cheers,

very informative pics.....so the original shroud will be removed and replace with one that can mount the ccfls. the lenses will have to be remove? do you mean the headlamp glass cover? if that is the case if water goes into the headlamp casing, it will get to the reflector and bulb as well.

BTW tks for the lil piece of advice. my car does not have ICE, just a piece of antique cassette player/receiver (dun laugh too hard guys), a two channel Blaupunkt amplifier and speakers at the back.

There is an outer clear plastic cover, a pair of glass covers in the midddle and a lens for the projector low beam.

The rings are mounted onto the original black shroud and the shoud put back in place without the 2 glass covers.

I guess your fear may be tru but on the E46 there is no glass cover at all.

    flash, it does.
The light seems to be more focused rather than dispersed evenly, in my opinion. So, must adjust lower to avoid glares from the opposite side.
