Well said Alvin, it is right that out of 2700 members we only managed to garner support from a few. I would like to believe that the rest were busy with their duties and that BMW club malaysia still does have members with a big and caring heart. Perhaps the next charity event I hope to see the cars and participants double up. I know we can do it, lets not just make an impact for the club, lets make an impact to the less fortunate and the needy... Cheers and God Bless to all.

Did you guys notice the faces of not only the "kids" but of our forumers? Werent they all smiling like they just hit a jackpot of a Million bucks? Thats because they were all in "seven heaven".....being there for those kids.......its not the money that we parted with and gave, its not the foodstuff that we all individually went shopping for and piled up on the bench but its just the sense of GIVING....seeing the little ones smile, carrying the babies and feeling them clutching and clinging on to you tightly. The sense of needy-ness and dependency...it certainly made us feel wanted and important and we made a little difference to their usual boring Saturday morning. We were doing something worthwhile....thats why we smiled, thats why some of us looked happier than those kids. Everyone was happy to GIVE.....freely and willingly and that made the difference. Time taken to share with total strangers who were in need. You dont have to be Bill Gates to do Charity. Look at it this way....call it for selfish reasons . ......cause it makes you happy when you give... cause it makes someone else happy. So, you do charity. It wasnt a big deal for us, what we parted with didnt make us poorer, the time was well spent....but to these kids, they will remember and Im sure some of them will brag and boast to their family and friends......."you know, one day we had a group of flashy and shinning BMWs and 2 Mini's and a Satria and a Rusa that came to visit us"....and they will all smile again. As the saving goes...charity begins at home, charity comes from the heart....well, for those of you who did your part......YOU HAVE ALL TOUCHED THEIR HEARTS! Thank you.
