I doubt it's readily available online, especially for our region. BMW Malaysia charges RM 1K for the latest maps.

From my experience when i collected my F10 end of last year, the gps is so lousy and outdated. For my 320d, i waited for updated in March and i can tell u, it is still useless. Apparently the update is not really an update at all. The ones that program it are based in Thailand so u think they know anything about our road. So till now, my house is still in a swamp in the so-called 2011 gps version. Grrrr
Wah ! Must be expensive residential area. High security! That's why it is not publish into the GPS .... just joking, peace bro ...
Like yourself, my house is also nowhere on the map. Was initially frustrated and embarassed too, but now, after thinking about it, I need everywhere else except where I live. My own house is the only location in the map that I would never need to use.
The reasons why I am particular about having my place in gps are: - My wife can find her way back (lol) - To know how good is the BMW in updating maps. Verdict..... they dun like my place - If my friends want to visit me or contractors, i can tell em where I live in gps or give em the coordinates since my place is hard to guide
Once,i went to a wedding in Taman Melawar and the navi guide me thru small kampng padang balang right to the doorstep.My friend was impressed cos only locals use that shortcut.So far i am impressed with the f10 navi.
I once used it to locate a restaurant for my friend's wedding, it lead me to a tyre shope. When I finally found the place with my natural instinct, i inquired my friend. He said, that was the old location of the restaurant and that was years ago. Btw, it was in Kepong. Maybe i should asked him or any of my future friends getting married to have it in Tmn Melawar instead, lol
1. Good point - you give your wife no excuses for not being able to find your way back too, haha. LOL! 2. BMW not updating maps, better to use your iPhone maps, that's the best. I don't use the navi anymore with iPhone. With the iPhone touch screen, you can enlarge and reduce, and know exactly where you are at any time, relative to your destination. And you can view road maps or satellite image, gives you very exact information where you are and where you are heading to. Use it and you will know what I mean by being dead accurate and useful info. Apart from voice guidance, the BMW navi is baby stuff compared with maps on the iPhone / iPAD. 3. You can still give your friends the coordinates, by getting them off googlemaps. As far as I am aware, you cannot get the coordinates off the BMW navi. Are you lending your car to your friends?
