My first car was a 1981 Toyota Corona 1.8GL liftback (it was a nice car indeed during its time)..passed down from my dad in 1992. In 1995, I bought a '91 E30 318i ...at age 24...have been saving from way before!! Used it for 4 years and thereafter used several other local and Jap cars. Some provided by the company I worked for. My final purchase was a 2004 Honda Accord 2.4 at age 30. Sold it in Dec 2007 and was planning on upgrading to the 2008 Accord until my unplanned visit to this website (while surfing the Accord forums) rekindled the old memories of my E30. Now, at age 33...I plan to get a Bimmer again. Btw...all the cars I bought was on my own thru hard work and prudence, except for my first car, the Corona which was passed down to me from my dad.

hey...i had read your reply and noted that u have a corona liftback 1.8GL, is the vehicle still with or sell it alrd???

2001 - NSR 150RR - starve myself paying with tuition fees.
2003 - Charade Espri 1.0 - had an accident with the NSR, mama told me never to ride a bike anymore.
2004 - Charade Espri 1.6 - converted engine - starving again.
2007 - e34 - bought for my dad. my convocation gift to him.
june 2007 - e36 318 m43 - just had to buy one UDM for myself. i was 26. :rock:

brought home an e46, a friend who went overseas. stopped at a roadside truck-kiosk to buy cigarettes, people say i'm a driver of my boss car. aiya!
maybe i look too cheap and unworthy to drive a Bimmer.

I dont understand why everybody needs to tell people that they "EARN" the car? or bought it with your "OWN" money? the topic was, your age when first owning a UDM so? u really need that respect? or sympathy?

And I'm a proud UDM owner eventhough it was given.
