But on a serious note, those whom are in the market for a well maintained E90, this is it! No need to look else where. I would buy this car from Wingzee if I was in the market for a E90 320d.

Additionally, I am a 20d user myself. Engine is robust and reliable. I know members whom have used the same E90 320d up till 230,000 km without any problems as long as you service on time. Wingzee has all records of his service for sure.

This is a good buy and I welcome the new owner of this ride to the Diesel gang! To Wingzee, your next ride better be a diesel.

Been pumping E5 ever since BHP made it first available in KV. FC-wise about the same as E2 but less black soot & pungent smell. With E2 diesel at RM1.35/L now it's time to grab one. RM80 per tank with minimum 700km is like Myvi or Vios's FC.

Per service costs is about RM350-400++ - RM250 for 5L of 5W-30 + RM50 filter + RM30 labor, every 7-8k km. Tires lasts around 40-50k km (the rears normally wears out faster).

Gonna replace the axle oil next week which costs about +/- RM300 (every 80-100k km).

Come out for a drink (full lists of maintenance done over the course of 2+ years available) or hangout with the diesel boys to find out more about maintaining the D - I would rate is as decent for a continental.

i-Drive is subjective, according to preference. Nice to have for me but not a necessity as the existing player is capable of USB/iPod & OBD can display errors/messages.

Anyway, the i-Drive can be retrofitted professionally by our installer known in the club for 8-10k the last I checked.
omg my finance minister's dad camry also cost more to repair, why i keep getting horror stories that the ultimate driving machine is banyak masuk workshop..

haha i remember we met in my dream before already and you promise to let me have your ride until i can afford mine :p then i return the ride back to you haha

edward,

Horror stories of UDM you heard are those that do not do preventative/proper maintenance or they go to inexperienced workshops. After getting your UMD, do join us as Official member and I am pretty sure all our sifu here will be pleased to impart their technical knowledge to you.

after few days of research, finally notice the difference between the LCI and pre-LCI version. and those before 2010 are pre-LCI sobs meaning i need to up my budget abit for the 2010 onward models

i can live without an i-drive but then M-sport package and the extra hp and torque... no no no...

Sifu, have you installed the power performance kit? 420nm of torque is just too intoxicating to let it pass, is it wise to get the 2010 LCI with m-sport package and go to bwm to install the ppk?

Edward,

Come and join us for OTT every 2nd Friday of the month (look for the OTT thread announcement) or any of our chapter TT ie Klang Shah Alam Chapter at MMZ mamak Bukit Jelutong, Ampang Chapter at Pelita Ampang , Diesel Gang normally at Chawan Citta Mall .

U r more than welcome to join our tt, some come with motorcycle to tt bro... hahahah

in other note... buy wingzee's car !! most of us knew him as a kaki who always 'jilat' his car.

May ur car getting somebody better in jilating the car than u wingzee bro

Edward, no need PPK. put DTUK also enough to knock your socks off. You can buy my DTUK as I am selling it off. So, buy wingzee's car and my DTUK and you have a powerful combination.

This advice goes off to the rest as well.

Well lots of horror stories were told by either people who doesn't own the UDM or one who doesn't knows how to maintain one smartly.

Myvi? I started off with a 1992 Corolla which I still keep today. :)

Per YF's post below. DTUK alone is sufficient for that instant cheap power boost - PPK costs about 7k or more during promo period. Should costs more now with the weaker MYR.

Nego with Danny for a good price for one lah. Can easily boost up to 182PS/397Nm on wheel. Enough for day-to-day driving and occasional rempit.
